Boy Scout Troop 322

Boy Scout Troop 322 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship, and fitness training for boys age 11-17.

In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as rock-climbing and rappelling, canoeing, target-shooting, visits to military bases, and more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families.

Boy Scout Meetings are held every Thursday Evening at 7:00pm at the Dickson City Community Ambulance Building; 2 Eagle Lane Dickson City, PA

Our Troop History

Troop 322 has been chartered since 1971.  Since 2013, Troop 322 has been chartered by the Dickson City Community Ambulance Association. Each spring, Troop 322 conducts a traveling camping trip outside of our local Council, past trips have included Washington, D.C.; Cooperstown, New York; Valley Forge, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; and, Gettysburg Pennsylvania.  Since 1971, over 50 Troop members have earned the Eagle Scout Award.  Troop 322 consistently excels at District level Scouting competitions, including Klondike Derbies and First Aid Meets.  Troop 322 has placed First in the Senior division of the Dan Beard District First Aid Meet for the past two years.

Merit Badges

Merit badges are awards earned by youth members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), based on activities within an area of study by completing a list of periodically updated requirements. The purpose of the merit badge program is to allow Scouts to examine subjects to determine if they would like to further pursue them as a career or a vocation.
